8Aoi Todo
A Monstrous Grade 1 Sorcerer
Aoi Todo is quite a powerful sorcerer and certainly one of the best when it comes to the next generation sorcerers in JJK. Out of the modern sorcerers, Todo was believed to be one of the most skilled ones and certainly someone worthy of reaching high levels and surpassing special grade.
Todo could even fight against someone as powerful as Mahito and that, in itself, is proof of the fact that he was one of the strongest modern sorcerers. Unfortunately, he ended up losing his cursed technique in Shibuya and that has weakened him tremendously. However, fans could be in for a surprise as Todo has not appeared in the story for quite a while and, when he does, he could still be a force to be reckoned with.
7Yuji Itadori
The Protagonist
The protagonist of the series, Yuji Itadori is certainly one of the strongest sorcerers. Although he does not have a cursed technique just yet, Yuji is special in more ways than one. He possesses an indomitable will, and, at the same time, he also possesses incredible control over his cursed energy.
He even has the power to utilize reverse cursed technique, which is one of the most complex abilities that one could learn. Yuji is full of power and certainly one of the strongest modern sorcerers, with the potential to possibly become the greatest.
6Kinji Hakari
A Special Talent
Hakarii is one of the few powerful sorcerers who will one day surpass even Special Grade, provided he lives that long. He was believed by Gojo to be strong enough to reach his level of strength at some point in the future. The vast majority of his strength comes from his rugged curse energy, which deals extra damage to his enemies.
His Domain Expansion, Idle Death gamble, grants him the chance to hit Jackpot and when that happens, he gains infinite cursed energy, along with infinite healing for 4 minutes and 11 seconds. Geto was a phenomenon and one who could even keep up with Gojo at one point in the story. At this point, Gojo hadn’t fully realized his power. However, despite that, Geto was one of the strongest sorcerers.
His powerful technique, called Cursed Spirit Manipulation, was incredible and such that even Kenjaku, one of the strongest ancient sorcerers, sought his body. Geto was always tremendously skilled and when it comes to modern sorcerers, he has already engraved his name.

The Powerful Non-Sorcerer/Non-Curse Duo
Known to be Toji reborn, Maki is one of the most skillful sorcerers of the next generation, despite not having any cursed energy.Maki possesses superhuman levels of physical prowessand her skills are such that she is believed to be one of the strongest leaders of the next generation.
Maki is also very important to the plot simply because she has managed to escape the curse just like Toji. Toji Fushiguro himself was born without any cursed energy and was famed as the Sorcerer Killer. Fans have already seen his level of skill when he collided against Gojo at one point in the past. And right now, Maki is on the same level as him, however, in the future, she can go on to surpass him.
3Yuki Tsukumo
A Special Grade Sorcerer
One of the only four special grade sorcerers inJJK, Yuki is known to be incredibly powerful. She possesses the power of Star Rage, which is an incredible ability that lets her add imaginary mass to her body as well as her Shikigami, Garuda.
Yuki is so strong that she can even create black holes, which just gives one an idea of what she is truly capable of. Known to be the strongest modern sorcerer, Gojois certainly one of the most powerful individuals in the entire series. He is someone whose birth itself shifted the balance of the entire world. Born with the power of both the Limitless as well as the Six Eyes, Gojo was destined for greatness from the very beginning.
He honed his skills incredibly over the years and became someone worthy of matching Sukuna in combat. No one has managed to reach his level of strength when it comes to the modern sorcerers and he sits on top of them all on top as the Honored One.
