With the recent announcement by Electronic Arts of an upcoming sequel to 2019’sStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, speculation by fans has been running rampant. Everybody is trying to theorize on where the story might go next and which characters might be featured as a result. Will Darth Vader return as the main villain? CouldBoba Fettbe tasked with hunting down Cal Kestis and the gang on behalf of the empire? These are questions that have yet to be answered.

There’s also the potential for some Legends characters to be brought into the official canon. These are characters who made their debut in the pre-Disney era of theStar Warsexpanded universe of games, novels, and T.V shows. While these characters are non-canon, it is certainly possible for them to be reintroduced inStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2.
8Revan
It’s somewhat of a long shot, but the popular Legends character Revan could be incorporated into the story via a flashback or Jedi/Sith holocron. Revan was both a powerful Jedi and Sith in Legends continuity and is as known for being one just as much as the other.
This makes Revan, or rather what he knows and has documented as a student of the Force, to be of great value to a young Jedi such asCal Kestis. This allows Revan to have a presence in the story beyond the grave without fundamentally breaking the lore.
7Kyle Katarn
Katarn has been the protagonist of quite a fewStar WarsLegends games and books. Most notably, he was the player character inStar Wars: Dark Forces, its direct sequel, and the subsequentJedi Knightseries. He was once an imperial officer before leaving the empire to be a mercenary, often doing jobs for the rebellion (even stealing the Death Star Plans). He eventually became a well-respected Jedi in Luke Skywalker’s new Jedi Order.
While this story is certainly impossible to tell now, the character himself could be reworked into the plot ofFallen Order 2if it takes place around that same Original Trilogy era that the first game did.
6Starkiller
It would certainly be something to see the main character ofStar Wars: The Force Unleashedappear inFallen Order 2. Never mind the sheer spectacle of simply having Starkiller in a game again for the first time in over a decade, the story potential of having him appear as a villain in the form of an inquisitor or secret apprentice for the player to fight.

Starkiller’s interesting background combined with his unnaturally powerful force abilities would undoubtedly make for an unforgettable experience. Especially if the game brings backSam Witwerto reprise the character.
5Dash Rendar
Though he has a similar backstory to Kyle Katarn, Dash Rendar is more the handsome smuggler type rather than a Jedi warrior like Katarn. In Legends continuity, he assisted the Rebellion (even stealing the second Death Star plans) and would later join the New Republic.
In the smuggler role, Dash can be a fun supporting character to Cal Kestis, or he could be a shady rogue with unclear loyalties. Either way, it would be nice to revisit a character who is so rarely featured inStar Warsmaterial these days.
4Exar Kun
Exar Kun is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous Sith Lords that Luke Skywalker ever faced in the old Legends timeline. Though he was born thousands of years before Cal Kestis become a Jedi, his spirit would be trapped in one of the various temples on Yavin 4 until after the fall of the Galactic Empire.

It would certainly be possible for Kestis and the gang to interact with the spirit of Exar Kun on Yavin 4. Kun’s abilities of corruption are second to none in the Star Wars universe.
3RC-1138/IC-1138 “Boss”
Boss, as well asDelta Squad, are still rather popular characters amongStar Warsfans years after the former’s debut as the player character in the Legends game,Star Wars: Republic Commando. After the fall of the Jedi, Boss, like most clones, served the Empire after the fall of the Galactic Republic.
As an Imperial commando, Boss and his squad are positioned to be interesting hypothetical antagonists for the player inFallen Order 2. Especially since Delta Squad is still canon (though their game is not) due to theClone WarsT.V show featuring them as minor characters.
2Durge
Durge is a monster of abounty hunter. He is not so much a man as he is a collection of muscles and nerves that resemble worms or tentacles that expand and contract at will. Durge is very old according to Legends continuity, being born over 2000 years before the start of the Clone Wars. This makes him one of the most experienced bounty hunters ever seen inStar Wars, and combined with his ability to heal and regrow himself at will, he is almost un-killable.

This can be seen in 2003’s no longer canonStar Wars: Clone Warscartoon series (distinct fromthe later CGI series) in which he faced off against Obi-Wan Kenobi. He would make for an incredibly formidable antagonist inFallen Order 2if Respawn were to re-canonize him.
1Rahm Kota
This eccentric Jedi Master would certainly make for an interesting character to have inFallen Order 2. InStar Wars: The Force Unleashed, Rahm Kota was first introduced as an antagonist for Starkiller, but he later became a loyal companion in the fight against the Emperor and Vader.
ForFallen Order 2, Kota could be that same sort of companion for Cal, teaching him about the ways of the force, albeit in his own unconventional way. Kota is an Order 66 survivor himself, so the dynamic between him and Kestis could be an emotional one if done right.
