With the puppets going crazy and monsters running about, the world ofLies of Pis certainly not one that allows for much time to take in the sights. However, some opportunities will challenge players to take a closer look at their environments and the happenings around them to solve puzzles and get rewarded.
For players hoping to find all of these puzzles and get to the bottom of them, it can be quite an arduous task without getting some help. This guide will provide not justall the locations of all Cryptic VesselsinLies of P, but it will also detail the solutions to help players get the elusiveVeteran Explorer trophy and achievement.

All Cryptic Vessels Locations & Solutions in Lies of P
In total,six different Cryptic Vesselscan be found in the game,each leading to a different locationas part of the solution to the puzzle. They can be bought from certain vendors, found in chests hidden in Krat, or received as rewards for completing specific actions.
Before all of that, it is important to note that none of it will be possible without the help of Venigni, who can be found as part of the story via the Center of Venigni Works location. Anytime players obtain a Cryptic Vessel, they mustgo back to Venigni to have him help decode itbefore proceeding.
Puzzle Solution
From the starting Stargazer, players should proceed along the main path until a brazier is pushed over to get rid of the acid on the first floor, which reveals stairs heading down to another area. Get there and open up the door to find theCrafted Cryptic Vessel.
Upon decryption, players should head to the Alchemist Bridge on Elysion Boulevard via the Krat City Hall Stargazer. Launching a throwable at the hanging puppet here will cause it to drop a second clue. The location in question can be found by fast traveling to the Stargazer found Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard. Exiting the window, crossing the gap, andentering the housejust to the right, players can acquire1 x Quartzand theOwl Doctor’s Hunting Apparel Outfit.
While exploring the opera house, players will reach a dimly lit area that has two ladders in it. The ladder going up leads to a chest containing theJeweled Cryptic Vessel.
To solve this puzzle, players should fast-travel to the Cerasani Alley Stargazer and backtrack down the stairs. Eventually, they will reach some railings near the cliff. Turning right and heading all the way to the end, players can use the Check Ground gesture to obtain1 x Legion CaliberandThe Atoned’s Hunting Apparel Outfit.
Players can speak to Rookie Explorer Hugo near the locked gate to obtain theOld Cryptic Vessel.
To start, players should travel to the Path of Pilgrim and enter the house next to the Stargazer. Heading up the hill to the right, there will be a Slum Resident; the Robbers' Shack Key can be obtained by talking to him. Then, players must enter the nearby shack, and survive the ambush. Inside the chest here is aLife Amuletand1x Legion Caliber.
Players should proceed along until they reach the top of the building where there are several swordsmen. Looking to the right for a lower level to drop to, they will see an explosive puppet. At the end of this path is a chest containing theRusty Cryptic Vessel.
After decryption,players should fast-travelback to the Barren Swamp Bridge Stargazer and travel to the locked gate where Hugo was. Proceeding all the way to the end of the Hermit’s Cave and solving the puzzle will reward players with theBlack Cat’s Hunting Appareland1 x Quartz.
After beating the Black Rabbit Brotherhood for the second time, players will catch up with the treacherous Alidoro. Killing him will reward them with theAlidoro’s Cryptic Vessel.
Once Venigni has done his part, players must read the lore item that is given and then talk to Eugenie. Choosing to tell her the truth and speaking to her again after resting at a Stargazer will unlock theProposal Flower Wolf Part 1 recordand also reward players with the trophy and achievement, The Story of a Stranger Girl. Choosing to lie to her will lead to players obtaining theProposal Flower Wolf Part 2 record.
From this Stargazer, players should proceed along to reach an area with a ladder leading up. Climbing up, and instead of going to the left where there are enemies, players can head straight and then turn left to find the chest with theMechanical Cryptic Vessel.
Players should ensure to have theFrozen Feast Special Weaponin their inventory; then, they can head back to the Abandoned Apartment Stargazer and up the stairs leading out of the building. Now, navigate across the fallen sign and then head through the alcove to the area with several monsters that can afflict the Disruption status. Equipping the weapon and heading up the nearby stairs, players can speak to the Wandering Merchant and get rewarded with theRed Fox’s Hunting Appareland1 x Quartz.
