Population is your most significant resource while advancing your settlement inManor Lords. Your villagers are the mainworking force, constructing buildings and working in their assigned roles to help you expand your rule as the greatest ruler on the map.
Increasing your population is one of the most essential requirements to level up your village, with the ultimate goal of reaching the “Large Town” level. However, increasing your population comes with some conditions you must meet to attract more families migrating into your village. The better you perform and the more you offer to your citizens, the more people will move into your village, making it easier for you to advance.

How to Increase Population in Manor Lords
Two vital factors play the primary role in determining whether new families will move into your settlement. Those are Approval Ratings of over 50%, and enough burgage plots to settle into.
Maintain Your Approval Rating
Your approval rating must be at50% or higherfor at least one family to move into your village monthly. The higher your rating gets, the more families will migrate. Approval rating is determined by how you treat the peasants and how much they like living under your rule. To maintain and increase your approval rating, follow these tips:
Families will start moving out of your settlement if your approval rating is lower than 25%,and new families will not migrate if your rating is below 50%. However, such a situation is almost impossible if you properly care for your people or do not play indifficult settings.

Build Burgage Plots
To accommodate more families, you will need proper housing to provide shelter for all the new families moving into your village. Thus, you must build as many new burgage plots as possible to attract more families. More families will likely move into your town if plenty of empty houses exist. If there are no empty burgage plots in your village, more citizens cannot move in, as there are not enough houses for the families to live in. So, if you expect to increase your population, you must ensure you have built enough homes.
Be careful though, as growing too rapidly will result in greater difficulty maintaining the food and fuel of your village. New families moving in means more food and fuel being consumed. To tackle this situation, ensure you also increase the food and fuel supply as you keep scaling your village.

Burgage plots play a vital role in accommodating the citizens living under your rule, and helping youincrease your regional wealthif the extensions are appropriately utilized. More population means more workforce, more growth opportunities, and ultimately, faster growth of your dynasty.
