The wilds ofTwitchare being rocked by yet more drama lately, withpopular streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudolaying into some of his fellow content creators after accusing them of cheating on his game show,Schooled. Streamers who guested on his quiz, including Kaceytron, CaptainPuffy and Amouranth, have been called out for Googling answers and generally not acting within the spirit of the show.

It became particularly egregious when, for example, CaptainPuffy answered a math question with a blatantly-copied breakdown of the answer which happened to exactly match the top result on Google, and managed to go from not knowing when World War 1 occurred to knowing intimate details about the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand later in the game. In another episode, streamer Jawsh was knocked out in third place accompanied by jeers from self-described “stoner anda hot tub streamer” Kaceytron and Amouranth, the former of whom later took to Twitter to admit to cheating during the game.
Mizkif himself later discussed the issues in a separate stream, admitting that although he knows that his own financial loss might not garner much sympathy from some folks, he considered it more a matter of principle: “It’s not about the money. You’re stealing from me…because of greed, and selfish reasons.” He went on to consider that the reason why a handful of his contestants cheated inSchooledwasn’t about the money at all, but rather “because they have something to prove, it’s because they want to prove to other people that maybe they’re not stupid, or dumb.”
This would certainly match up with Kaceytron’s words at the end of her episode after she emerged the victor: “I feel like this is my moment. I feel like, for years, people said I’m dumb as f*ck. I’m stupid. I’m just a dumb stoner…I really proved something today. This day will be remembered inTwitchhistory.” She may well be right about that last part, though presumably not for the reasons she thought at the time.
This isn’t the first time Kaceytron has found herself in hot water, either: just last year she wasbanned for just over a week for making an insensitive comment about the Covid-19 pandemic, and earlier this year she was accused of using a racial slur in a previous stream. All things considered, cheating in a quiz show is probably one of the lesser issues she’s run into, but it’s unlikely she’ll live it down any time soon.
