Square Enix’s role-playing game seriesKingdom Heartsrecently concluded its 20th anniversary event celebrations in Japan. Fans who were lucky enough to visit the physical exhibit were treated to many exclusiveKingdom Heartspreviews, including theannouncement ofKingdom Hearts 4, the new mobile gameKingdom Hearts: Missing Link,and even upcoming themed products. Now, Square Enix has uploaded newKingdom Hearts20th anniversary merchandise on the official online store, with many already available for preorder.
The 20th anniversary event ofKingdom Heartswas clearly highly-anticipated by the RPG’s fans. And Square Enix did not disappoint the community. The developers dropped major video game announcements, includingcontent updates forKingdom Hearts Dark Road. What’s more, those who were able to attend the event shared live updates with their fellow fans on social media, giving sneak peeks of what Square Enix has in store for theKingdom Heartscommunity. This includes new 20th anniversaryKHmerchandise that can now be found on the Square Enix store.

On the official website, a variety of newproducts have opened preorders as a way to commemorate the20th anniversary ofKingdom Hearts. Among the new merchandise, Play Arts Kai figures of Sora, Riku, and Kairi in theirKingdom Hearts 3regalia can be preordered by fans. Interested customers may also notice that included in the Play Arts Kai lineup is a figure of Namine, which fans will likely recall as Kairi’s Nobody. The Sora and Riku figures will cost around $189.99 to $209.99 USD as they come with deluxe editions. Kairi is priced at $199.99 USD and Namine at $99.99 USD.
Square Enix is also offering plushies of Roxas, Namine, theKingdom Hearts 2versions of Sora and Riku, and Sora in his Halloween town outfits. The plushies will cost fans $49.99 USD each. Other 20th anniversary merchandise includeKingdom Heartsjewelry, home products such as an elaborate plate collection, as well as small items such as an enamel pin, keychain, pin badge, and a bag with Mickey Mouse and Sora plushies. Though some bigger items may be priced higher, more affordable products are available for fans who are on a limited budget.
The newKingdom Hearts20th anniversary items seem like just the beginning of the festivities. With the rest of 2022 celebrating the franchise’s milestone, Square Enix will likely announce more events, merchandise, and information for the whole fanbase to enjoy. Hopefully this includes the timeline for release ofKingdom Hearts 4as well.
