However, fans arestill waiting for a variety of Nintendo classics to come to the Switch.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princessreleased in 2006 by Nintendo for the GameCube and Wii. The game is arguably the best game withinThe Legend of Zeldafranchise to date, with thousands of fans stating it has been their favorite to play. The games' reception was incredible and was a first for many Nintendo fans due to its incredible reviews from gaming fans and various online sources.

However, seventeen years later, the beloved RPG is still awaiting a remaster or even a port to the Nintendo Switch. Although Peach has had more appearances since, there has been no word or mention of a remake, sequel or remaster for this iconic DS game. The Nintendo community loved this game, especially as it was one for the girls, so hopefully it will make a comeback in the future.

Cozy games have become incredibly popular recently andNintendogswould not only fit in incredibly with these cozy games, but do well. There is no doubt that gamers would love to see the fuzzy pixel friends make a return on the Switch, so hopefully, it is something Nintendo will consider for the future.

Yoshi’s Storyis another classic from the Nintendo 64 console. The game is a side scrolling adventure platforming game, similar to the game it branches off ofSuper Mario.The game was re-released in 2016 for the Wii and Wii-U, and gamers have been hoping the same is donefor the Nintendo Switch.

The game is one of the most popular Game Boy games and is well overdue a remake, not having had one since its release in 2006. This beloved game is deserving of a Switch port or remaster and would definitely be received well by its beloved fans.

Finally,Sonic Rushis another incredible classic game which Nintendo should remake for the Switch. This game was developed by The Sonic Team and Dimps for the Nintendo DS and was released in 2005. The game was incredibly popular following the success of the 2001 gameSonic Advancedwhich released on the Game Boy Advanced.

Although there are a selection of Sonic games on the Switch store today, none of them quite have that same nostalgic and retro feel as Sonic Rush. Sonic Rush would make a great addition to the growing collection of older games which have made a reappearance on the Nintendo Switch.
