One such complaint has come from Pirate Software, who posted on Twitter that they had conversed at length with the developers and community manager forOnce Humanand had raised concerns about the way the game handles cosmetics.Once Humanis free-to-play, but it does include a shop where players can buy skins and other cosmetics. In response to this issue, the game’s official Twitter account responded by saying that the developers plan to make purchased cosmetics available to all characters on the same account by August, even those that have already been bought. What’s more, any player who has purchased the same cosmetic item for multiple characters will be refunded for all additional copies purchased in the form of in-game currency once the change takes place.

Once Human Developers Are Aware Of Community Concerns

In addition to trying to alleviate fan concerns about cosmetics, the development team also addressed complaints about the seasonal resets that are currently a mandatory part of the game. Pirate Software had noted that while optional seasonal resets in games likeDiablo 4can provide a fun way to start from scratch along with the rest of the community, forcing players to lose all their progress at the start of each season can be disheartening. Another issue centers around the non-repairable nature of dropped items, with Pirate Software stating their opinion thatcrafted items inOnce Humanor any MMO “feel like baselines that I should use only when I have to.”

While the post fromOnce Human’s account doesn’t offer any immediate solutions to these problems, it does note that developers are aware of the community’s displeasure regarding mandatory seasonal resets. Pirate Software noted that the developers and community manager were receptive to the concerns during the hour-long meeting and are aware that other players in the community have similar reservations, which should help to improve the quality of the game, especiallyifOnce Humanexpands to other platforms.

WHERE TO PLAY

The apocalypse changed everything. Human, animal, plant… all are infested by an alien creature – Stardust. As a Meta-Human, you can survive the contamination and use the power of Stardust. Play alone or join others to fight, build and explore. When the world is in chaos, you are our last hope. You wake up in the middle of nowhere. You’ll have to brace yourself for the cruelty of nature (from monsters to lack of food); however, Stardust’s influence does not restrict to living things, it also affects the soil and water. Eating polluted food and drinking dirty water will reduce your Sanity. When your Sanity drops, your max HP would drop accordingly. To eat or not to eat, it’s a question.Battle numerous enemies that are once human, and challenge bosses from another dimension to gain powerful items and ease Stardust pollution. You are not only fighting for yourself, but also fighting for the survivors.
