One PieceEpisode 1084 had a lot of filler, but there was nothing to complain about. After all the action thattook place in Onigashima, both fans and the animators needed a break. The latter, in particular, have been working extremely hard on the entirety of the Wano Country arc to ensure that it goes down as one of the best arcs in One Piece.One PieceEpisode 1084 began with the Straw Hats talking to the Nine Scabbards. They reminisced about how they met for the first time in the ruins of Kuri Castle. The Scabbards were grateful to the Straw Hats for what they did for the Wano. The crew freed the country from the clutches of Kaido and Orochi. The two villains had completely changed Wano and turned most of it into a wasteland. Only the Flower Capital retained its glory. The Straw Hats also remembered the sacrifices of Ashura Doji and Izo, both of whom played a crucial role in the alliance’s success in the war.
There was another farewell in the episode, which involved Carrot and the Straw Hats. After she was named the successor to the throne of the Mokomo Dukedom, Carrot was left with no other option. It was great to see Carrot get a well-deserved farewell in the anime.
ElsewhereZoro was pouring sakeover the graves of Pedro and Yasuie. Both the characters gave up their lives for the sake of a bigger cause. He was honoring them in his own way. Zoro also talked to O-Toko and Hiyori. The three paid homage to their fallen comrades. Meanwhile, Sanji was selling his famous Soba in the Flower Capital.
Toward the end of the episode, Luffy went to Otsuru’s shop, where he shared a final meal with O-Tama. She did not want Luffy to leave, especially after all they had been through. However, Luffy reminded her that he would never forget about the time she fed him rice. The two also promised to never forget each other. Then the crew returned to Tokage Port, as they had to leave Wano.

It will be the finalepisode of the Wano Country arc, and it will officially bring an end to the adventure of the Straw Hats in the land of samurai.One PieceEpisode 1085 is titled “The Last Curtain! Luffy and Momonosuke’s Vow.” In the preview, it was revealed that Luffy’s erratic behavior agitated Momonosuke, so the latter decided to make his way to Tokage Port to confront his friend.
Luffy’s decision not to meet Momonosuke and Kin’emon before leaving is quite odd. They were the first people who met the Straw Hats and sailed with them to different places. It is possible that Luffy wanted to ease Momonosuke’s emotional burden. The latter has gone through a lot, and while Momonosuke may not look like a kid anymore, he is still one mentally. Seeing Luffy depart Wano might be too much for him. However, there is a good chance that Momonosuke will get the opportunity to bid adieu to Luffy and the rest of the crew. Luffy and Momonosuke respect each other a lot. The latter, in particular, has been vocal about his admiration for the pirate.
After their farewell, the focus will change to Luffy, Kid, and Law. All three pirates will be leaving Wano and heading toward their next destination. Neither captain named the island that they were going to, so it is hard to know for sure where each one would end up.
