Steam has issued this week’s update for its top-selling games, and there has been some massive upheaval in the top 10. For the past eight weeks,Valheimhas dominated Steam’s top-sellers list. That impressive streak has now come to an end. This week’s list reveals thatValheimhas fallen to fourth, dethroned by three new games. Claiming the top position this week is People can Fly’s co-op looter shooterOutriders, followed byIt Takes TwoandThe Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

At the top of this week’s chart, the top-selling game as measured by revenue isOutriders. This isn’t the first timeOutridershas been on the chart, as pre-purchases for the looter shooter climbed as high as rank five this past week. While overall sales ofOutridersaren’t available, Steam does provide some perspective into the game’s success. Sunday afternoon,Outriderscrossed over 125,000 concurrent players, easily placing it in the group of Steam’s most-played games for the day.

FollowingOutridersthis week,It Takes Twowas technically released the week prior to this one, so its sales have climbed impressively since launch. Word of mouth and Twitch streaming helped the co-op adventure game’s sales significantly, asIt Takes Twoappeals to a diverse range of players. The Binding of Isaac: Repentanceis the latest iteration of the popular roguelike, adding a ton of new items, bosses, enemy types, and more.

There are three other new entrants on this week’s Steam top-sellers list. First is theHorizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition, which climbed to sixth due to an ongoing sale. Seventh was claimed by the newreal-time strategy gameEvil Genius 2: World Domination, a sequel to the 2004 cult hit. In eighth is a curiosity. It’s Crown Packs forThe Elder Scrolls Online, a premium currency for the MMO. These two climbed onto the list due to a hefty ongoing sale cutting prices up to 40%.

Rounding out the list areValheimin fourth, the Valve Index VR Kit in fifth,Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s Operation Broken Fangpass in ninth, andCyberpunk 2077holding onto the tenth position. Meanwhile, theadults-only gameSubverse,Half-Life: Alyx,Grand Theft Auto 5, andThe Witcher 3: Wild Huntall dropped out of the top ten, mostly due to sales ending.

For the next week, it’s difficult to imagineOutridersfalling out of the top position. If anything, its popularity is growing. Some game releases that will be worth watching, however, includeThe Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 4and the previouslyApple Arcade exclusiveCozy Grove. As with every week of the Steam top-sellers list in 2021, it seems, expect surprises.
