The test branch indicates that new versions were detected, and users speculate that early testing is a sign of PvE’s imminent arrival alongsidea new hero inOverwatch 2. Several fans in the community believe PvE may arrive at the start of Season 6, but the possibility of a mid-season update remains due to the existence of various test versions.
If Blizzard sticks to its initial schedule,Overwatch 2Season 5 will begin on June 13, and Season 6 will arrive sometime in August 2023.
