Niantic has announced new Elite Raids forPokemon GOthat will feature the Legendary Pokemon Regidrago. New creatures are added toPokemon GOfrequently. While the game does not yet have all Pokemon available, there is a wide variety of Pokemon that players can capture.One of the Pokemon that recently debuted inPokemon GOis the tiny and friendly Ghost-type Gimmighoul. The arrival of Gimmighoul inPokemon GOwas one of severalannouncements made during Pokemon Presents, celebratingPokemonDay 2023. Players can find Gimmighoul in Roaming Form and evolve it into Steel/Ghost-type Gholdengo. Regidrago will be available in Elite Raids, the more challenging variant of Raid Battles, which return to the game in March as part ofPokemon GOSeason 10. Players who complete an Elite Raid will have access to an exclusive Timed Research that can only be received once. By completing the related research tasks the player will receive Regirock Candy, Regice Candy, and Registeel Candy as rewards.

Pokemon GO Regidrago Raid Times

In addition to the introduction of Dragon-type Regidrago inPokemon GO, the Season 10 announcement revealed that Electric-type Regieleki, another member of the Legendary Titans, will be added to the game through Elite Raids. For the Regidrago Elite Raids, however, Niantic highlights two important points: the raids will only be available in person, and it will not be possible to use Remote Raid Passes to participate in the event remotely.Pokemon GOintroduced Remote Raid Passesin 2020 as a way to encourage social distancing and promote player safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regidrago and Regieleki were introduced in Generation 8 and are part ofPokemon’s powerful Legendary Titansalong with Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. The news of Regidrago Elite Raids was met with positivity by players, who are already discussing how to participate in the event to capture the Pokemon. Other players, however, are not happy that it will not be possible to use Remote Raid Passes.
