Last year, developer Niantic took a unique approach to its annualPokemon GOFest, turning it into a fully virtual event for the very first time. This will once again be the case withPokemon GOFest 2021, which means that players worldwide will be able to participate. For those fans that want to start enjoying the festivities as soon as possible, details on exactly when the event will begin may be of interest, and that information can be found in what follows.
To get right to it, the first day ofPokemon GOFest 2021is set to start at 10am local time on July 17, and it will conclude at 6pm on the same day. An identical schedule will be followed for the second day of the event, which will take place on July 18, though it will have a different focus. As such, players in certain time zones have just a little over a day to wait for Day 1 of the event, and they may want to start preparing for it now.

With respect to what fans will encounter when theGOFest 2021 start time arrives, the first day of the event is all about catching Pokemon. Indeed, players will be able to to enjoy a variety of spawn increases and collection challenges throughout Day 1, and those will be organized by habitat. Additionally, players that purchase thePokemon GOFest 2021 ticketwill gain access to a Special Research about Mythical Pokemon and music, and they will also be able to take advantage of boosted Incense spawns.
On the second day of the event, the focus will shift to raiding, and a ton of different Legendary Pokemon will be appearing over the aforementioned hours. Amidst theseraiding Legendary Pokemon inPoGOFest 2021are Mewtwo, Groudon, and Cresselia, and fans may want to study up a bit on the counters that they should bring to these fights. There will also be a Raid Day Timed Research for players to complete, providing further incentive to jump into battle.
While all of this together is quite a lot for players to enjoy over the weekend, it is not even the full extent of what is on offer. Some of the additional content includes new Shinies for fans to catch, and there will also be anew Mythical Pokemon inPokemon GO. For players that want to engage with as much of this as they can, getting into the act as soon as the start time arrives is very important, and again that is at 10am local time on Saturday.
