However, there are certain variants of legendary Pokemon that are even rarer, like shiny Pokemon and hundos. InPokemon GO, a hundo is a Pokemon with 100% positive stats. They are highly sought-after by the community, withPokemon GOplayers participating in a dizzying number of raid battles to secure these rare creatures.
Pokemon GOplayer PrestyRS showed off their extremely rare catch on the game’s subreddit. According to the Reddit user, they decided to do a Remote Raid at 2am and were rewarded with a hundo Darkrai for their efforts. This victory came after a whopping 118 attempts at catching a hundo version of the popularGeneration 4 legendary.
While some luckyPokemon GOplayers have managed to catch a hundo Darkrai for their roster of Pokemon, others haven’t been so lucky in their attempts to catch rare variants of the Dark-type legendary, like its elusive shiny form. To put in perspective just how much of a grind it can be toget a shiny Darkrai inPokemon GO, one only has to look at the attempts made by Reddit user Evilheroneos. In a post that generated 1,600 upvotes, they explained how they have had 87 encounters with Darkrai and still have yet to find a shiny version of the legendary Pokemon.
Pokemon GOplayers that have yet to catch a shiny Darkrai are unfortunately out of time to do so. Darkrai is officially leavingPokemon GO5-star raids, to be replaced by other legendary Pokemon. This may be disappointing to some, but the good news is that Darkrai will inevitably find itself back in thePokemon GOlegendary raid rotation at some point down the line.
