Next week brings the massivePokemon GOTour: Johto festivities to the game and players around the globe are going to be able to celebrate together with special in-game spawns, bonuses, and features.

As has become tradition forGO Tour events, ticket holders will have even more reason to log in during the celebration thanks to some additional special features. Obviously attending the event in person in Europe won’t be a realistic option for everyone, but there’s a long list of cities participating, so many players will have a chance to visit some of these parks and play in larger groups. The real-world celebrations are scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time and players can find the full list of participating parks and locations right here…

“We’re excited to announce that real-world Pokémon GO Tour: Johto celebrations will be held in select cities across Europe on Saturday, July 23, 2025. Enjoy one of the photo ops while playing and trading with fellow Trainers. There’s no registration needed to join in on the fun!”

“Not able to make it to these in-person events? Don’t worry! You’ll still be able to participate in Pokémon GO Tour: Johto from wherever you are, no matter where you play, and the in-game ticketed and nonticketed experiences will still be the same for everyone around the world.”

Pokemon GOused to host a lot of in-person events like this, but mostly took a break from that over the past two years. Now that the company is feeling safe enough to dip back into the in-person event scene, it will be very interesting to see what sort of attendance they get and whetherglobal offerings change for future events.

In the coming weeks, we should learn more about what other events will be arriving during thefinal days of the Season of Heritage. Be sure to check back in the near future for morePokemon GOstrategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
