APokemonfan has created an image that shows all Eeveelutions and their corresponding unique color-coded Poke Balls that would be perfect if aPokemontrainer lined their catches up the right way. For some generations ofPokemon, multiple Eeveelutions were created, slowing down with Sylveon in Gen 6 without bringinga new one in withPokemon Scarlet and Violet,Pokemon Sword and Shield,orPokemon Legends: Arceus.

Reddit user Sdrey recently shared aPokemonfan art that depicts every Eeveelution from Gen 1 forward with a matching Poke Ball for each one represented underneath.Pokemon Red and Bluewere released with the generic line of Poke Balls, and the release ofPokemon Gold and Silverbrought with it unique Poke Balls that are specific to a Pokemon’s typing or nature. Using thespecial Poke Ballsthat have been released since Gen 1, Sdrey’s fan art shows just how accurately the corresponding items made from Apricorns reflect the Eevee evolutionary line as if the art was made for them rather than the typing as a whole.

Sdrey’sPokemonReddit post shows Vaporeon above a Lure Ball, Jolteon with a Fast Ball, Flareon alongside a Level Ball, Espeon atop a Dream Ball, Umbreon with a Moon Ball, Glaceon on a Heavy Ball, Leafeon graced by a Friend Ball, and Sylveon captured by a Love Ball. Though these Poke Balls don’t all specifically refer tothe Eeveelution’s typing, the color schemes all match the octet which is only missing the form that turns into all the others, Eevee. If Sdrey’sPokemonfan art included Eevee, it may have been reflected by a Premier Ball given its pale colors, but none of the existing Poke Balls feature the sandy beige and chocolate brown combination the way the other special balls share color schemes with current items.

The Pokemon Eeveelution fan art has nearly reached 10,000 upvotes ofPokemonfans that are mostly surprised that they hadn’t already noticed the similarities between the Pokemon and Poke Balls. Similar to the Kimono Girls ofPokemon Gold and Silver, Sdrey stated that they were inspired by characters of the same name in episode 7 ofthePokemon Evolutionsanime serieswhich had hair accessories of the matching Poke Balls. Asking which pairing is their favorite, Sdrey has garnered some interesting choices fromPokemontrainers that have Eeveelutions of their own.

As manyPokemonfans expressed their agreement to Sdrey’s idea for each Eeveelution, some eagle-eyedPokemonplayers pointed out which Poke Balls would be more fitting for certain typing. While one player highlighted that these Poke Balls can’t simply be boughtfrom aPokemonMartlike the standard ones, another lamented that there isn’t more variety in Poke Balls with how many possibilities there are.
