In the world of anime, the forces of good always triumph over evil, at least in most cases. Anime heroes always have to overcome numerous obstacles before they can get their hands on some kind of power. After gaining new powers, the heroes are expected to get the better of their opponents.

However, there are plenty of exceptions. In many popular anime, even the strongest anime characters can be bettered at times. Among other reasons, this commonly happens whenever a hero becomes arrogant and underestimates their opponent’s strength. Unfortunately, they never learn from their mistakes and end up losing most of their fights.

6Caesar Zeppeli

Caesar Zeppeli is one of the main allies of Joseph JoestarinBattle Tendency. When he first met Joseph, there was a great deal of tension between them, but that was resolved with time. It didn’t take long for the two to become the best of friends. Their friendship blossomed further when they started to train under Lisa Lisa.

The two of them improved massively, and they even managed to defeat their overseers without any problem. When the location of the Pillar Men was confirmed, Caesar decided to charge in on his own to defeat them. However, his recklessness cost him his life, as Wamuu killed the hero without showing any mercy. Overall, it is fair to say that Caesar did not get many chances to show his strength, which lands him on the list.

Vegeta is blessed with a great deal of power, but he still couldn’tcompete with his rival, Goku. So, Vegeta had to put a lot of effort into training to match Goku’s strength.

For someone so powerful, Vegeta seems to lose an awful number of fights. In almost all the fights where he has had to fight well-known fighters, Vegeta ends up being beaten. One can only hope that in the future, Vegeta will be treated better by the creators and maybe then he can win some of the fights.
