June 2022 is shaping up to be a landmark month forPS Plusand the overall PlayStation brand. AState of Play is scheduled to take place on June 2, showcasing new third-party PS4 and PS5 games, as well as new titles for PS VR2. On June 7, the three free games for PS Plus will release, and on June 13, the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers will launch in North America too.
Luckily, Sony has now confirmed what those three games are. Sony’sPS Plus free games for June 2022 lineup previously leakedfrom the website Areajugones, which was then supported by Dealabs users Billbil-Kun. As many may know by now, Billbil-Kun has leaked accurately leaked the PS Plus games for quite some time now, skipping only a month or two. Leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt, but Sony has now confirmed that PS Plus lineup.

PS Pluswill receive three new games on June 7, which will then be available until July 5. These include God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, andNickelodeon All-Star Brawl. ReleasingGod of Warwhen many are heavily anticipating its sequel,God of War: Ragnarok, is a smart move. It’s a strong lead-in ahead of the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers as well.
Meanwhile,Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikeris an online multiplayer game based on the beloved anime, featuring 4v4 battles. It’s the firstNarutogame to allow character creation and takes place during the Chunin Examswhen Naruto is Hokage. Overall, it should be noted that the game has a “weak” OpenCritic rating, with a top critic average of 64.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawlis another multiplayer game, this time in a closer vein toSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate. It features characters fromseveral shows likeSpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Loud House, Invader Zim, Danny Phantom, andAvatar: The Last Airbender. It features a similar rating toNaruto to Boruto, with a top critic average of 65 on OpenCritic.
Of course, if anyone has yet to claim thePS Plus free games for May 2022, they will have until the new games release to do so. The PS Plus free games for May 2022 includeFIFA 22, Tribes of Midgard, andCurse of the Dead Gods. It remains to be seen how June ultimately compares to May and is received by fans, but no matter what, PlayStation fans expect a ton of reveals next month.
