With only a couple of weeks left to go until the release ofThe Sims 4’s Growing Together expansion pack, new images of San Sequoia have been revealed, but fans are giving mixed feedback on this information. The Sims 4has been around for a few years now, but that doesn’t mean that the Sims Team and fans of the franchise are done with it yet. There is still a lot of content that can be added to the game, and the month of March is proof of this as it’s going to be a busy couple of weeks. In March, the Infants update will finally be released, adding a new life stage toThe Sims 4, and it’ll be free for everyone. On top of this, on March 16, the Growing Together expansion pack will become available. These two additions together will blend perfectly as they’ll both provide new family-oriented content to the game. A recent gameplay trailerintroduced the family dynamics mechanic toThe Sims 4, which will add a lot of depth to existing relationships and realism in regard to the consequences some interactions can have.RELATED:The Sims 4 Player Builds Rapunzel’s Tower in the GameSan Sequoia will be added to the game onceThe Sims 4Growing Together expansion packbecomes available. Although glimpses of this world were shown in some of the trailers and livestreams, fans were still hoping to see more before the actual release date. SimGuruMorgan, aSims 4developer, recently shared new screenshots of San Sequoia on Twitter and disclosed that it will only have 12 playable lots. The images show the bay area of Hopewell Hills featuring Gilbert Gardens and Anchorpoint Wharf.
While analyzing these images, some gamers noticed that five cars were parked by the bay. It might mean nothing at all, and they could be simply decorative, but it could mean that vehicles are finally being added and becoming part of day-to-day gameplay inThe Sims 4. This is one of the many content additions that players have been requesting for years. There’s a possibility that this might be one of the lastSims 4packs as theSims Team is now working onProject Rene, a new entry to the franchise, which means it could be the developers' last chance to add much of the content that fans feel is lacking in the game.
Even though Simmers were happy to see these new images, most couldn’t help but feel disappointed that there are only going to be 12 playable lots. Another frequent fan request was the addition of more apartments, but if there are only 12 playable lots, this now seems unlikely. More information will definitely be revealed soon; the Sims Team will host a livestream March 3 during which moremechanics and features available in the Growing Together expansion packwill be shown.
The Sims 4is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S
