Star Citizenfeatures some amazing gameplay loops and careers for players to experience. Whether it’s bounty hunting across the star system or simply becoming a “space trucker,“Star Citizenhas it all. Delivery missions allow the player to become a freelance contractor for a local delivery service around one of the four main planets found in Stanton.

These missions involve picking up a package(s) and delivering it to a designated location. To begin, this is relatively simple, but as the player progresses through the hierarchy, they may run into a few issues, including bugs and glitches.

Best Ships

Although there isn’t necessarily a “best” ship for deliveries, the starter ships available to the player are a great option. They have great maneuverability and are easy to get from the planet surface to out of atmosphere.

The Aegis Avenger Titan and Drake Cutlass Black are particularly well-balanced for this gameplay loop. However, as long as the ship has an area for players to drop a box (unlike something like the Aegis Gladius), they can easily partake in the delivery gameplay loop to begin making some aUEC.

As players progress, they may buy a few other shipsthat they can fly more effectively. It’s truly down to the player as to which one they find most efficient. Thismay even include some of the fighter shipsthat feature an interior for storage.

How To Start Deliveries

To begin delivery missions, head over to thecontract manager tab found in the Mobiglass. This can be accessed by pressing F1 unless the player has changed the key-bind. From here, click on the deliveries tab. This is usually the first page that opens on the deliveries page, so it is fairly easy to navigate to.

The player can select any of the missions from this page, as they will all be fairly similar. To begin, players will need to pick up a single package anddeliver it to a pre-designated location. This is fairly easy and is a great introduction toStar Citizen’s flight mechanics.

At level 1, the missions become slightly harder. The player will now have a range of missions that are all similar, but vary slightly. The player will need to pick up three packages and deliver them to different locations. This may involve picking up these packages from different locations and delivering to a single place, or, picking up all three from one location and delivering to three different places.

Unlocking Better Delivery Missions

Tounlock harder and more rewarding missionsin the delivery industry, the player will need to complete more delivery missions to unlock the rank ofSenior Courier. This process won’t take too long, only around 5-6 basic missions once the player has reached the rank of Junior Courier.

These missions will reward the player with45,000 aUEC,a massive step up from the standard missions. This does come with a difficulty increase, as the player needs to infiltrate a bunker, which is likely full of enemies and pirates. ensure to quickly identify which of the people here are security, as shooting them will immediately give the player a crime statand the possibility of being sent to prison.

Star Citizen Greycat Multi-Tool

Once the packages are retrieved from the bunker, the player will need to take them to the location marked on their HUD.This mission is known to bug regularlyand have missing markers for both the boxes and the objective, so keep this in mind.

Using The Multi-Tool

The Greycat Multi-tool, although not essential, is a great way of completing these missions in a more effective way. With the tractor beam attachment applied, the tool will allow the player to freely move boxes without needing to stop and pick them up. This isincredibly helpful for missionsthat involve more than one box to collect. This tractor beam can further be used for maneuvering around space when outside a ship. Simply point the beam towards an object (such as the ship) and the player will move quickly toward it. When fuel is introduced to the EVA suits, this will be a great way of maneuvering around 0 gravity spaces.

Although this is one great use for the tool, applying different attachments will give it a few different uses including mining, cutting, and the new salvage attachment arriving with patch 3.18.
