How to Start All for One

Like most other side missions, players can get a hint added to their activities logby listening to a local security officermention James Newill by name. Even if they don’t, players can head to Newill’s shop and ask him if he’s having any trouble.

Before heading over to Sieghart, players should note that this mission comes with an optional objective: “Ask Rosa Newill about Dietrich Sieghart.” She has a few things to say about him, especially if players are speaking to her for the first time. For the mission, make sure to ask “What’s your opinion about Dietrich Sieghart?” Doing so will complete the optional objective and make the second step of this mission much easier.

Starfield All for One Dietrich

How to Convince Dietrich

Sieghart’s Outfitters is close by. Like other stores in central Neon, it has a giant glowing sign out front. Dietrich himself is the active merchant in his store, and players can continue the mission by telling him"James Newill objects to you paying Neon Security protection fees."

Dietrich doesn’t like paying protection, but he’s certain that Neon Security will destroy his shop if he doesn’t. Players canattempt a Persuasion to convince himto stand with the other merchants, and this is where the optional objective comes in handy. The Persuade attempt has four steps, and the optional objective gives players a special blue option that’s guaranteed to work and that adds +5 steps.

If players somehow fail the Persuade attempt, they can still use Rosa’s words to convince Dietrich to stop paying Neon Security. This mission won’t end until Dietrich agrees, so players who haven’t yet should head back to Newill’s and speak to her.

After Dietrich comes around, players can go tell James the good news. The reward for this mission is 100 XPand a medium amount of credits(adjusted to the player’s level).
