Are There Any Rewards for Completing New Game Plus Mode in Starfield?
WithStarfield’s main storybeing an endless cycle of sorts, players are free to complete New Game Plus mode as many times as they like. However, the rewards for doing so are somewhat limited. Aside from being able to change who they side with at the end of the game, the only thing that really changes across multiple runs is the name of the player’s ship, which indicates how many times the playable character has been reborn.
It’s worth noting that there are a few other subtle little differences between New Game Plus runs, the most notable being the quality of the player’s starting spacesuit and ship. With each new run, both get a little more powerful, although the difference between one run and the next tends to be fairly negligible. As with the player’s Starborn ship, unlocking the same power in multipleStarfieldNG+ runs will also lead to a Roman numeral appearing next to the power’s name indicating how many times players have unlocked it. However, it’s difficult to notice too much of a difference when it comes to the power’s effectiveness.

Alternate Universe Variations
In addition to the aforementioned gear and equipment changes, it’s also possible for players to find themselves in alternate universes in which things are completely different from the way that they were in the universe that they left behind. These all tend to be pretty wild and some are downright hilarious, so players should definitely make a point of checking them out if they get the chance.
