Forgotten Valley is home to a small yet bustling community. With this comes several romantic options, including an artist named Gordy.
Gordy is a quiet, brooding artist who spends much of his time deep-thinking in various locations around the village. Players can break through his mysterious demeanor with the right effort, so here’s how to romance Gordy inStory of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

How to Increase Gordy’s Affection
All the Forgotten Valley residents have a relationship meter, and romanceable characters will also have Affection levels. Players can keep track of Affection from the bag menu under the social tab. The best way to increase Gordy’s Affection is to talk to him daily andbring him his favorite gifts.
Players will want to learn his schedule so they can interact with him. Gordy starts his days in his trailer around 9:00 AM. Then, at 10:00 AM, he will work on his sculpture outside his house. Gordy also tends to go on walks throughout the dayaround the pondand the Forest, sometimes stopping to hang out on the river bridge for a couple of hours during sunny weather.
His bedtime falls around 10:00 PM, so talk to him before then. He will kick players out when it is time to go to sleep. Additionally, players can’t give him a gift if he is working on a sculpture or standing with his arms crossed.
Gordy’s Favorite Gifts
Conversation only goes so far if playerswant to find a spouse. The quickest way to increase a character’s Affection level is to give them one or two daily gifts. Gordy is an artist and fitness buff, and his favorite gifts represent these traits. Players are best off offering Gordy the following items if they want to romance him:

Flowers are the easiest to get since they grow in various spots around Forgotten Valley, with the type changing every season. Animal produce and vegetables can be harvested from the farm if players have female cows, hens, andcrops growing.
Soups and Salads are cooked meals. Players must level up their cooking skills to unlock more recipes, but they can make easy meals like Herb or Milk Soup from day one.
Festivals
There are yearly festivalsthat players can use for chances to increase Gordy’s Affection level—specifically, the Summer Fireworks Festival and the Winter Starlight Concert.
The Summer Fireworks will come first and fall on Summer 2 at 6:00 PM. If players have been working on Gordy’s relationship, he will be a date option. The Starlight Concert occurs at the end of the year on Winter 5 at 6:00 PM and is another fantastic date opportunity. At the end of the concert, players can make a wish and ask for a higher Affection level with Gordy.
All Gordy Heart Events
Romanceable characterswill trigger unique heart events as players get closer to them. These events show intimate moments and hints that Gordy is falling in love. Heart events are only triggered once Gordy has certain Affection levels and if other stipulations are met. See below for a complete list of Gordy’s heart events and when they occur:

How to Marry Gordy
There are two ways to marry Gordy inStory of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. The first way happens automatically at the end of Year One. Players must marry someone before Year Two, or else the game ends.
Takakura will approach the farm and ask players if there is anyone they’d like to propose to. As long as Gordy’s Affection level is high enough, he willappear among the options.
The second option requires more effort but results in a cute cutscene. Players must get a Blue Feather to propose to Gordy before the last day of Year One. Blue Feathers are incredibly rare and expensive, but luckily, players are gifted one from the Nature Sprites. Then, they must take the Blue Feather to Gordy and offer it to him.
If he accepts, players will get to see the proposal cutscene. Then, when players sleep on Winter 10, they will wake up and see the Marriage cutscene, where they’ll pick the gender of their future child.
