Animal Crossing New Horizons Shower Booth listing at shop

Whileold Amiibo cards have recently drawn attention for their high price tags, many items on the in-game catalog can also be quite expensive. Players should be checking these prices before giving unwanted items away to villagers, because they may just be sitting on a goldmine.

10Shower Booth

It doesn’t take much for items to enter six-figure values inNew Horizons, as the shower booth makes clear. It may look like the ideal finishing touch to your bathroom, but unlike many expensive items, the shower booth is entirely ornamental. It can’t be turned on and off as some taps can, and unfortunately, the door can’t even be slid open and shut.

Despite these limitations, collectors will need to hand over 110,000 Bells to obtain the shower booth, unless it happens to fall from a tree or balloon. Players who already have a preferred shower item can sell this one to the Nooklings for 27,500 Bells.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Instruments Cello with villager singing outside

9Cello

New Horizonsoffers a plethora of musical items, making an orchestra or band areathe ideal way to fill in those extra island spaces. While many of these instruments can be quite costly, the Cello is among the most valuable at 130,000 Bells. It can be found in Nook’s Cranny with three color variants - brown, white, and black.

The Cello isn’t a very common item in villagers' homes, but it is owned by a snooty chicken named Becky. Starting with a purple Renaissance dress and also owning a number of other classical instruments, it makes sense for such a refined chicken to own the elegant cello.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Harp Tommy offer at shop

8Harp

Tying with the cello is a 130,000 Bell harp. This beautifully carved harp is in fact a 47 string pedal harp. Featuring a range of six and a half octaves and seven different pedals, this instrument is commonly used in modern orchestras, though its musical ingenuity is hard to appreciate inAnimal Crossing.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Whirlpool Bath Diana

The harp is one of the oldest instruments in the world, appearing in Egypt as early as 3000 B.C.E. and closely associated with Biblical angels. It makes sense that such a heavenly instrument should be one of the most expensive items inNew Horizons, as the harp can surely transform any island area into a magical place.

7Whirlpool Bath

Another 130,000 Bell price tag item, the whirlpool bath made its firstAnimal Crossingappearance inNew Leaf. Instead of Bells, players have to obtain this first iteration with 70 medals, which can be earned by participating in minigame Tours on Tortimer’s Island.

New Horizonsoffers the whirlpool bath in two colors - black and white. It’s quite popular amongst snooty and smug villagers, appearing in the homes of Diane the deer, Lionel the lion, and Alfonso the anteater. Unfortunately for these villagers, the value of this bath drops down to 32,500 Bells when sold to the Nooklings.

6System Kitchen

The final 130,000 Bell item, the system kitchen is the perfect centerpiece to your home’s meal area. It boasts a diverse range of eight color variants, including bright red, blue, and yellow for a more retro-style kitchen, as well as subtler shades of white, black, and brown.

New Horizonshas far more kitchen-related items than any of its predecessors, and the system kitchen is the best of what this meal prep trend has to offer. With a sink, stove, and the ability to decorate it with a small item such as a kettle, this piece has both utility and cuteness to spare.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Fancy Violin Tommy offer at shop

5Fancy Violin

Contrary to its name, the fancy violin has no non-fancy counterpart. Just like the cello, it can be found in brown, black, and white, and as with all instruments in the game, players and villagers alike can interact with it to make a simple tune.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Pine Screen villager looking

While most violins in real life cost between $300 and $3,000, the price tag on this fancy one makes a bit more sense once you consider some violins sell for millions of dollars. Players should be wary of buyer’s regret, however, as the fancy violin’s resale value is just 35,000 Bells.

4Screen

From Imperial screens and low screens to throwback dino screens,New Horizonshas a lot of partitions on offer. By far the most attractive and most expensive of these is the item simply known as ‘screen’. It can be purchased from Nook’s Cranny for 140,000 Bells, and pairs well with zen-themed areas and the Imperial furniture series.

The screen comes in five variations, each with a unique illustration. Players can choose between images of bamboo rising through clouds, a delicate branch of plum blossoms, a bonsai-like pine tree, a prowling tiger, and a dragon surrounded by coiling smoke.

3Kitchen Island

There are countless tiny kitchen accessories inNew Horizons, including scales, mugs, knife blocks, and kettles. The 170,000 Bell kitchen island is well worth its price, considering it not only brings some structure to your kitchen, but provides some much-needed surface space for all your smaller items.

The kitchen island comes in seven variations that surprisingly match up well with the system kitchen options. There’s blue/white, red/white and beige/white for that retro charm, or all white, marble black, brown/white, and grey for more traditional, refined kitchens.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Elaborate Kimono multicolored in eastern themed room

2Elaborate Kimono Stand

The elaborate kimono stand is the more elegant cousin of the standard kimono stand, which costs just 3,200 Bells and can be found with four simple prints. The elaborate kimono stand only has one more color variant, but costs nearly 70 times more at 220,000 Bells.

These kimono stands are designed to show off the elaborate embroidery and prints of the traditional Japanese gown. The prints available on the elaborate stand include cranes over a red sunset, delicately draping wisteria, a hawk in mid-flight, decorated pink baubles, and a colorful display of peonies.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Grand Piano duck billed villager joyful outside while raining

1Grand Piano

The most expensive piece of furniture inNew Horizonsis yet another instrument, and this time the largest of them all. While the smaller, upright piano can be bought for just 53,000 Bells, the 2x2 grand piano costs 260,000 Bells. But players who’re short on Bells shouldn’t worry -there’s plenty of tips and tricks out there for earning Bells quickly.

Black, white, walnut, and cherry wood color variants can all be found in Nook’s Cranny, and players who find a color they don’t like can still sell the grand piano for 65,000 Bells. Considering real grand pianos cost between $20,000 and $300,000, these prices seem like a pretty fair deal.
