Resident Evilfans have a lot to look forward to between now and May 7. The newest installment in the series,Resident Evil Village, will release that day and allow players a deeper look at all the characters and locations that have been teased since the game’s announcement. All the teasers released, playable or otherwise, have given players a lot to look forward to in terms of gameplay for the highly anticipatedResident Evil Village. However, there’s one lady who’s stood out among all the other characters introduced.
Lady Dimitrescu has taken the internet by storm with tons of fans already eagerly anticipating meeting her in-game. She’s clearly been set up as a villain, and a powerful one at that, but that hasn’t stopped the internet from absolutely fawning overthe 9-foot tall vampire lady. Some people have already created cosplays based on the brief glimpses fans have seen of Lady Alcina Dimitrescu and her “daughters.” Some of the best Lady Dimitrescu cosplays will help tide fans over until the release ofResident Evil Villagenext month.

Most Lady Dimitrescu cosplays take advantage of the character’s tall proportions and angle the camera in certain ways to give the illusion of extra height. User retrogradoffcosplay took a different approach, instead showcasing a stunning and true-to-character dress and black flower accent alongside multiple pearl necklaces.Other Lady Dimitrescu cosplays focuson her as a standalone, powerful character, but this one shows her bond with her “daughters” instead.

Instagram user h.annah_cosplay perfectly captures the quiet power that Lady Dimitrescu exudes in every scene. The dress and black gloves match the vampire lady’s costuming in-game, and it’s a little hard to see because of the dark background, but the black flower is present as well. The makeup and oversized hat bring this cosplay together to truly make it one of the best so far.

Thisstunning Lady Dimitrescu cosplayfeatures an impeccable match for the dress the actual character wears as well as beautifully done makeup and hair. The camera angles coupled with the nondescript background give the illusion of height, which of course helps anyone cosplaying the 9-foot tall character. The expression on user rgtcandy’s face is more playful than other cosplays, but rest assured that this Lady Dimitrescu could still take fans down in no time flat.

Most Lady Dimitrescu fans, not just cosplayers, like to focus on her look in general and not the fact that she kills the player character atthe end of the “Maiden” playable teaserforResident Evil Village. User moonka_moonka decided to embrace Lady Dimitrescu’s terrifying claws and incorporated them seamlessly into the cosplay photos. The camera angle helps accentuate how tall moonka_moonka looks in the photo, as well as gives the proper definition to show how menacing Lady Dimitrescu’s talon hands are.

Professional cosplayer ladyscarlettrose went the extra mile with their Lady Dimitrescu cosplay. Not only does the costuming look spot on compared to whatResident Evilfans have seen of the tall vampire, but the photos were actually taken in a haunted mansion.Not every Lady Dimitrescu cosplayhas to be taken in an appropriately creepy setting, but it does add an extra layer of dedication to the character’s cosplay.
The internet hasn’t really known peace since the debut of Lady Dimitrescu, but frankly, it shouldn’t. She’s a powerful, albeit terrifying, character who will hopefully have as prominent a role inResident Evil Villageas she’s had in the teasers for the upcoming game.
