EA has now confirmed that theBlooming Rooms KitDLC will soon be given away to players for free. The announcement was made without much fanfare, having been tucked away into anunrelated blog postabout the macOS version of the EA app finally being on the horizon. Near the very end of that article is a casual confirmation that fans will soon have the opportunity to claimThe Sims 4 Blooming Rooms Kitfree of charge. The promo is planned to debut “in the coming weeks,” with that wording pointing to it going live sometime in April.
WhileThe Sims 4freebies are normally platform-agnostic, the publisher has so far only confirmed that this offer will be available to EA app users across PC and Mac. The app itself doesn’t have a console port, making it unclear whether the promo will be extended to PlayStation and Xbox users. In the meantime, players across all platforms have a few more weeks toclaimThe Sims 4 Backyard StuffDLC free of charge. The Microsoft Store version of that offer suggests it’s set to expire on April 13, which is likely the earliest date when theBlooming Rooms Kitgiveaway will begin, as EA has never given away two of the game’s add-ons at the same time over the past decade.
