The Vienna, Austria-based video game publisher THQ Nordic has been around for some time and has published some well-known video games. Some of the company’s recent game releases includeChronos: Before the Ashes,Black Mirror, andKingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning.
Recently,THQ Nordicannounced that it is celebrating the 10-year anniversary for the video game publisher. However, the news didn’t stop there. THQ Nordic is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a major Xbox games store sale for gamers. The THQ Nordic Xbox store sale will be available for a limited time that starts September 14 and ends on September 27.

THQ Nordic shared this news in a post explaining how the publisher wants to thank its supportive gamers for all these years with the sale. According to the post, the company is releasing the Xbox store sale with up to 75% savings for specific video games selected from several popular franchises. The video games included in the sale are meant to be a selection that gamers of “all ages and passions” can enjoy.
For this sale, THQ Nordic released a video to coincide with the anniversary that shows several notable games that will be part of the Xbox store sale. One of the games included in the sale isSpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated. Players will be able to play as the titular fun-loving SpongeBob and his undersea friends from the popular Nickelodeon cartoon in the remastered game.
The second video game included in the list is the motorbike-racing gameMX vs. ATV: All Outdeveloped by Rainbow Studios. The third video game to show up in the video’s list isDarksiders Genesis, the latest entry in theDarksidersvideo game franchise. However, the post points out that multiple games from theDarksidersfranchise will be part of THQ Nordic’s Xbox game store sale, not justDarksidersGenesis.
The fourth video game announced in the sale is theKingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoningremaster of the original game. The fifth video game on the list is theDestroy All Humansremakethat was released in July 2020. At the time of writing, the sale doesn’t include the original game or any of theDestroy All Humanssequels.
The video released from THQ Nordic also showed more video games that will be included in the 10th anniversary Xbox store sale. It starts off with the previously mentioned games along withElex, the gameFade to Silence,Desperados 3, the recentBiomutantgame,This is the Police 2, andWreckfest. According to the post, gamers can check out the Xbox game store for savings on these games and various others.
