Zynga is known for experiences geared towards social interaction, likeFarmvilleandWords With Friends. Previously, the group announced that it started work on amobile game set in theStar Warsuniverse. Since there is a new Lucasfilm Games brand, multiple developers have teasedStar Warsgames. While Zynga’s title is for mobile devices, it will be one of the first to come out under this banner.

The information comes from an earnings report to shareholders after adramatic Zynga stock jump last year. Housed deep in the document are a few details relating to this upcoming mobile entry. The letter describes that the soft launch will begin in Summer 2021, with an full release before the end of the year. If the team sticks by this deadline, fans can expect some kind of demo or beta version of the game coming out mid year. This will likely determine the popularity of the title, as well as any improvements that may be necessary.
