The Prince’s Apartment
After visiting the Prince during Emem’s second visit to Elysium, players will have theopportunity to dig a little deeper into the Prince’s affairs. After talking with Hilda, they’ll have the option of sneaking up to the Prince’s chambers via an elevator in April Bosley’s office. Doing this will allow Emem to dig into some of the Prince’s better-kept secrets. Heading up the elevator is easy enough, but the Prince’s apartment itself hides its best secrets well.
Once inside, Emem can use Auspex to reveal a vision of the Prince playing violin, though this is entirely optional. More importantly,players should check the circled notes on the sheet music: BFDAC. This will be important shortly, as a bookshelf nearby has a set of books labeled A-G and a locked drawer beneath them. Unfortunately, a glass case blocks access to the books, and it’s locked.
Nearby is a statue of a swan with an empty slot underneath it. This is the key to accessing the bookshelf and unlocking the hidden drawer, but first players will need something to fill the empty slot. Heading down the hall to the bedroom willallow Emem to meet Miley if Leysha was successful in rescuing her at the loft, with Miley supplying additional information about the Prince and the events of the party but requiring Emem to convince her to keep this visit secret.
Regardless, there are several important notes in this room, revealing details about the Prince’s reasoning for allying with the Hartford Chantry, their connection to Dajan Siaka, and even some insight into the Prince’s past (including the reveal of a previous childe who she had killed).
Also in the bedroom is a small model swan around the right size for the slot under the swan statue. Taking this model back to the swan statue and placing it in the slot will open a hidden compartment, revealing a silver key that can be used to open up the glass case guarding the books from earlier. Players can then push the books in the order “BFDAC” to unlock the hidden drawer underneath them, and open it up to reveal atrio of letters regarding the Prince’s machinations regarding the main cast.
Notably, it reveals the execution of Halsey under the pretense of an “accident,” the intentional withholding of permission for Galeb to create a childe, and a plan to acquire the territory currently controlled by Emem.
