The One-Man Army

Not all the great heroes of the Imperium hold lofty titles or lead vast armies. Sly Marbo, a member of the revered Catachan Jungle Fighters, is one of the most decorated and skilled soldiers within all the armies of the Imperium. Hailing from the death world of Catachan, Marbo is a soldier of peerless skill and cunning.

An expert marksmanwith a sniper rifle and a master of survival and ambush tactics, Sly Marbo has been called a one-man army. Regularly going up against some of the galaxy’s most fearsome xeno threats, Sly dispatches his enemies with cold, brutal efficiency.

Hero of The Imperium

A reluctant hero, Ciaphas Cain had a long and storied career,leading many campaigns to victory. A self-styled coward, Ciaphas Cain did not want to die in the service of the Emperor. Although, in the attempt to survive, he often found his actions turning the tide of war.

A skilled swordsman, it was rumored Cain was skilled enough to duel an Astartes. For over 200 years, Cain served as a Commissar and was recalled back into service to fight in the 13th Black Crusade against Abaddon the Despoiler.

8Inquisitor Greyfax

Uncompromising in Her Mission

Of the many Inquisitors working within the Imperium, fighting against heretical and xeno threats, Inquisitor Katarinya Greyfax has quickly risen to prominence in recent times. Imprisoned by the Necron Overlord Trayzn the Infinite for centuries, Greyfax was released to aid in the defense of Cadia against the 13th Black Crusade.

Greyfax fought alongside Saint Celestine on Cadia and later aided her in bringing back Roboute Guilliman. She became a central figure in the Indomitus era and foughtalongside the Grey Knights, White Scars, and again with Saint Celestine. She continues to purge all chaos and xeno threats she finds with a fanatical zeal.

7Colonel “Iron Hand” Straken

Battered But Unbroken

There are few soldiers within the Astra Militarum that live long enough to rise through the ranks. Surviving within thedangerous galaxy ofWarhammer 40kmeans a lifetime of hardship and war. Some people, on the other hand, are born for it. Colonel “Iron Hand” Straken is one such soldier.

Commanding the fabled Catachan Jungle Fighters Regiment, “Iron Hand” Straken is a legend among heroes and an uncompromising leader. The very embodiment of a grizzled veteran, he has survived countless battles and survived just as many wounds.

6Sebastian Yarrick

The Hero of Hades Hive

Commissar Yarrick is a legend not only within the Imperium but, surprisingly, throughout the Ork clans as well. Yarrick gained fame in the second and third wars of Armageddon, where he showed extreme perseverance against overwhelming forces.

During the second war, Yarrick led the defense of Hades against the warboss Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka so successfully the conflict became a personal rivalry between the two legends. Later in the war, Yarrick’s arm would be severed by Ork Warboss Ugulhard. Undeterred, Yarrick fought on, killing the ork and claiming its Power Klaw as a replacement arm, sowing fear within the Ork ranks.

5Belisarius Cawl

Innovator or Heretic?

One of the most controversial and influential figures within the entire Imperium, Belisarius Cawl is one of the highest-ranking Tech Priests of Mars. Not content with solely copying or rediscovering ancient technology, Cawl seeks to innovate as well, something deemed heretical by many within the Imperium.

At around ten thousand years old, Belisarius Cawl can barely be counted as human anymore, with much of his body being wholly mechanical. Cawl was a central figure in bringing back Roboute Guilliman and was the architect of the Primaris Space Marine project.

4Morvenn Vahl

Leading From the Front

Elevated to the highest position within the Sororitas by the Ecclesiarchy in the hope that she would be an easy pawn in their grand plans, Morvenn Vahl proved to be a tenacious leader and intimidating presence. Made a High Lord Of Terra by Roboute Guilliman himself, Morvenn has little time for politics and has concentrated all of her attention on the many campaigns waged around the galaxy.

She strives to reunite all the orders of the Adepta Sororitas, especially those lost in the opening of the Great Rift. Never one to hide from battle, Morvenn Vahl inspires her warriors from the front ranks, marching into battle in her Paragon Warsuit, Purgator Mirabilis.

Leader Of Millions

Arcadian Leontus is the Supreme Commander of the Astra Militarum within the Segmentum Solar. Leading the forces within humanity’s home region of space. The Lord Solar is the product of the very best of Terra, hailing from one of the noblest families on the planet. Leontus has led his forces to countless victories in over a century of service.

Kept in peak physical condition by countless rejuvenat treatments, Leontus still leads from the front but wields a deep intellect, brilliant tactical mind, and inspiring persona. He is one of thebrightest minds in the Imperiumand an example for all of humanity to follow.

2Inquisitor Hector Rex

Saviour of Vraks

Inquisitor Hector Rex is one of the most famed and honored of all the Inquisitors of the Imperium. Among his many accolades, maybe the most impressive is the title of Auditorii Imperator. This rare title means he has been granted an audience withthe Emperor of Mankindhimself, an honor which very few, even among the High Lords of Terra, have been granted.

One of his greatest feats came during the Siege Of Vraks, when the fearsome Bloodthirster, An’ggrath The Unbound, was summoned. Rex defeated the Greater Daemon in combat and banished it back to the Warp.

1Saint Celestine

A Beacon Of Holy Light on The Battlefield

Saint Celestine has become a beacon of hope for the followers of the Emperor Of Mankind. Starting her journey as a soldier of the Adepta Sororitas, within the Order Of Our Martyred Lady, Celestine was killed during a campaign against a Renegade Warmaster. Since then, she has returned many times when the forces of the imperium are in great peril.

Thought to be resurrected by the Emperor himself, Celestine is the embodiment of faith and hope. She returned during the famous battle for Cadia against Abaddon the Despoiler and would later be instrumental in bringing Primarch Roboute Guilliman back from his ten thousand-year stasis.
