How To Use Paybacks in WWE 2K24
InWWE 2K24,every superstarhas the ability to get two Paybacks at once. These can be equipped and changed through the Creation Suite by simply editing the superstar.
To successfully perform a Payback, you need to position the opponent correctly and have a Finisher stock available. The controls vary by console:
Action Requirements
Blackout
Black out the lights and move behind your opponent to gain an advantage. This move is only valid in 1 vs. 1 matches.
Both superstars need to be inside the ring.
Comeback
Perform a comeback sequence and inflict persistent damage for a short period.
Moveset trigger scenarios
Fireball
Shoot a fireball at your opponent’s face. (This move can get you disqualified.)
Stand in front of the opponent
Freeze
Temporarily shock or intimidate your opponent and lure them in for a cheap shot.
Stand inside the ring
Stunned State
Low Blow
Slow your opponent down with a Low Blow. (This move can get you disqualified.)
Unlocked in MyRISE
Poison Mist
Spray Poison Mist in your opponent’s eyes. (This move can get you disqualified.)
Stand opposite your opponent
Power of the Punch
Punch your opponent with hidden brass knuckles. (This move can get you disqualified.)
Resiliency
Escape a Pin, Submission, or Elimination Mini-Game with ease. (Requires OVR of 85+.)
Triggered during the Pinned, Submission, or Elimination minigames.
Run-In
Summon an ally inside the ring to make the fight “fair”. (This move is only valid in 1 vs. 1 matches.)
Lay down in the ring
Soul Siphon
Suck your opponent’s life force and use it yourself. (This move can get you disqualified.)
