Xboxis tweaking the Microsoft Rewards app after users reported issues with the app tracking their earned achievements. Microsoft Rewards is a program that letsXboxusers essentially get points for completing various tasks. These Microsoft Rewards points can then be redeemed for all kinds of things, including free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions, retail and fast food gift cards, sweepstakes entries, and money that can be used to purchase new games through the Xbox store.

Microsoft Rewards is something that all Xbox users should consider participating in as it can make it so they never have to pay for anXbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptionusing real money again. It only requires a couple of minutes to complete the daily tasks and even rewards users for some of their purchases. Xbox achievements can also score users some Microsoft Rewards points, with 50 points doled out each day one gets an achievement.

Unfortunately, theMicrosoft Rewards apphas been having trouble tracking achievements lately, making it difficult for users to not only get their daily 50 points, but also complete the Weekly Set. Weekly Sets are a series of tasks that Microsoft Rewards users can complete over the course of a week to get bonus points. Those that manage to complete the Weekly Sets each week can get even more bonus points on top of everything else, so they’re certainly worthwhile. However, the achievement tracking issues have made it impossible for some Xbox gamers to complete the Microsoft Rewards weekly sets.

Xbox is changing Microsoft Rewards to address this issue. From now on, the Weekly Set punch cards will only ask users to earn three achievements instead of five, which should make it less likely that their progress will be ruined by tracking issues. Additionally,Microsoft Rewards userscan now earn the monthly bonus by completing just two Weekly Sets instead of the usual three. Requirements are being reduced for other Microsoft Rewards punch cards as well, though specifics on that end weren’t provided. The takeaway is that Microsoft Rewards should be even easier to complete.

Ultimately, these changes sound like they should be nothing but beneficial forXbox gamersthat use MIcrosoft Rewards regularly, and now there should be less potential for bugs ruining one’s Weekly Set streaks.
