Fans of the long-runningYakuzaseries have eagerly awaited the day when the entire game series would be available on PC. That day is rapidly approaching with the PC release ofYakuza 6: The Song of Life, and now players can find out what their computers will need to be able to play the game.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Lifeis the final game from the series to make its way to the PC, despite the fact that series sequelYakuza: Like a Dragonhas already been available on the system for several months. The absolute minimum PC system requirements forYakuza 6call for Windows 10, 4GB of RAM, a GPU equivalent to a Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 with at least 2 GB of VRAM, and an Intel Core 85-3470, AMD FX-6300, or equivalent processor. Considering the game originally launched back in 2018, it has very reasonable requirements that manygamers' PCswill be able to handle.

To make the most out of the experience, though, players will need slightly better hardware. Sega recommends Windows 10, 6 GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 with 8 GB of VRAM, and an Intel Core i7-6700 or an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or equivalent processor. Those who meet or surpass these recommended specs can expect to enjoy the game in high quality in 1080p, whereas the minimum requirements still allow for 1080p, but at a lower visual quality.

Theorder of theYakuzafranchisecan be a bit confusing at times for newcomers, and the long overdue release ofYakuza 6for PC is no exception.Yakuza 6was the first game to feature the developer’s (then) new Dragon Engine, which has since been featured inYakuza Kiwami 2,Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and spin-off titleJudgment, though there are currently no plans to bringJudgmentto PC. As such, many PC users and fans of the series have likely already enjoyed at least one of the games featuring the Dragon Engine, and can likely expect that their computers will handleYakuza 6just fine if they don’t feel like looking up their system specifications.

While it took a while to get there with the out-of-order release of the series for PC, those who are limited to or prefer the system for gaming will soon be able to enjoy series protagonistKiryu Kazuma’s story from start to finish.

Yakuza 6: Song of Lifewill release on PC and Xbox consoles on March 25. It is also currently available on PS4.
