Naganohara Yoimiya is a 5-star Pyro archer inGenshin Impact. She is the daughter of the Naganohara family, which is known for their fireworks. It is said that the Naganohara can make fireworks the exact same way as they previously did, as long as the customer keeps the order slip.
Yoimiya believes that fireworks can bring back memories, so they can be used to relive those moments. Because of her love for fireworks, players will notice that Yoimiya’s combat skills are heavily influenced by it. Being born into the fireworks business also makes her a talented pyrotechnician. So, it only makes sense that her vision is Pyro.

Although her best weapon and artifacts set remain the same, there are still new teams she can join that require a different approach to Yoimiya’s build. Not only that, but there are also new Bows and artifact sets that deserve a mention to give more variety to her best builds in Genshin Impact.
Yoimiya Best Artifact In Genshin Impact
To inflict the absolute most DMG possible, players should build Yoimiya with artifacts that can enhance the DMG of her Normal attacks, like theShimenawa’s Reminiscenceset. This set is made for Yoimiya since her Elemental Burst isn’t stable at dealing damage. Yoimiya can sacrifice a portion of her energy to insanely buff her next portion of Normal attacks.
Players can also build Yoimiya with theCrimson Witch of Flamesset, although players have to pair her with Hydro units like Xingqiu andYelan inGenshin Impact. The Crimson set will buff all her Pyro reactions, on top of increasing her Pyro DMG.
In a mono-Pyro team comp, players can go forEchoes of an OfferingorLavawalker. Finally,Marechaussee HunterandRetracing Bolideare also decent options when building Yoimiya. Both sets are situational and require certain teammates to meet their requirements. Marechaussee Hunter works when Yoimiya is teaming with Furina, while Retracing Bolide buffs Yoimiya’s DMG when she’s paired with a goodshield user inGenshin Impact.
Yoimiya Best Weapon In Genshin Impact
As a pureDPS inGenshin Impact, Yoimiya needs a weapon that will take her DMG to the next level and add as much power as possible to her shots. Without a doubt,Thundering Pulsecan achieve that since it’s her Signature weapon. Not only that, but Yoimiya can also easily unlock all Thundering Pulse’s passive stacks if she has the Shimenawa’s Reminiscence set, which will immediately give her access to a great Normal attack DMG buff.
Aqua Simulacrais an amazing alternative to any Bow user inGenshin Impactwho wants to maximize their DMG. It’s a standard DMG-dealing Bow that grants its wielder a whopping 88% Crit DMG with an easy-to-obtain 20% extra DMG from Aqua’s passive. Another 5-star option isPolar Star—a decent weapon for Yoimiya as a Crit Rate stat stick. However, Yoimiya will have to hit a charged attack before she enters her Elemental Skill’s state to unlock the Bow’s full potential. Speaking of stat sticks,Amos’ BowandSkyward Harpare still a decent option before going to the4-star weapons inGenshin Impact.
For 4-star Bows, go forRust, especially at R5. While it’s a popular weapon for Yoimiya, it isn’t quite as competitive with the 5-star Bows. However, because of how much Normal attack DMG it gives to Yoimiya, it’s one of herbest Bows inGenshin Impact.Slingshotis very similar with its high Crit Rate and the 60% DMG increase, but it still suffers from a very low Base ATK as a 3-star weapon.
Finally, as a last resort, players can opt to build Yoimiya withPrototype Crescent,The Viridescent Hunt, and the rest of the 4-star offensive Bows. They all have a very similar DMG output, so it’s fine to use them until Yoimiya gets a better Bow inGenshin Impact.
Yoimiya Talent Priority In Genshin Impact
Yoimiya’s talent priority inGenshin ImpactisNormal Attack > Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst. Yoimiya’s Elemental Skill increases her Normal Attack DMG, but since the basic multiplier is from Normal Attack, it must be prioritized over Skill. Meanwhile,considering Yoimiya’s Elemental Burst is somewhat unstable, it can be upgraded last. Just make sure not to ignore her Burst talent as it’s still a good source of damage.
