These sets returning is basically guaranteed because of their relation to Amiibo figures. It could even be possible for there to be armor sets from Amiibo figures from other series. Either way, the Amiibo armors are all very likely to return, definitely satisfying fans.

The Champion’s Tunic
While not being part of any armor set, Link’sChampion’s Tunicis the most iconic part of his wardrobe inBreath of the Wild. If that’s the case, players will likely want the option to return to the stylish cyan tunic for their new adventure.
The Possibility of Zelda Wearing Old Outfits
Manyplayers want Zelda to be playableor be a party member along for the quest inBreath of the Wild 2. If that were the case, she would need armor as well and since the majority of the armor sets are gender neutral in nature, there’s a strong possibility for her to wear the same armors as Link. In this scenario, players would be able to see Zelda in not only the brand new armor, but the returning armor sets as well. Players would be able to stroll through the desert with both Zelda and Link in Gerudo sets or stalk the night in the Stealth set. This would give a brand new look to these existing pieces that fans would eat right up.
Going back to Amiibo armor sets, while Zelda likely wouldn’t be able to wear the armor sets referencing the Links of the past, there are possibilities for Zelda to get her own armor sets depicting her own previous looks. The idea of Zelda traveling around with Link while dressed asTetra fromWind Wakerwould be a sight that many players would want to see with their own eyes without mods.

This also means thatZelda’s previous outfitsfrom the original Breath of the Wild could also return as armor for Zelda. This would include her white dress, her princess garb, her research attire, and her winter outfit. Having all of these outfits as functional armor sets would surely satisfy many fans for this princess.
