A player managed to kidnap Purah inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomby using an elaborate flying machine. InThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players may use flying machines and other devices to transport Koroks and other NPCs to a desired destination.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomtakes place directly after the events of the prior title,The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Link and Zelda are separated after an incident underneath Hyrule Castle, and Link reawakens in a mysterious temple in the skies above Central Hyrule. The mysterious entity Rauru helps Link acquire new abilities such as Ultrahand, Fuse, and Ascend. These new abilities are vital toward exploring uncharted territory in the vast Kingdom of Hyrule and flying from island to island in the sky inZelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer ZeldaCastle9 kidnaps Purah by using a large flying machine powered by Zonai energy. The exact methods for bringing Purah onto the flying machine are unknown, but the player is able to transport her on the machine’s attached platforms. Several fans, batteries, and a control mechanism were attached to these platforms to facilitate successful flight over Hyrule. ZeldaCastle9 is able to fly in the air with Purah on the platform despite not being able to attach her to the flying machine withZelda: Tears of the Kingdom’sUltrahand ability.

Purah is one of the first Sheikah NPCs that Link reunites with in Lookout Landing after his reawakening inZelda:Tears of the Kingdom. Although Purah appears to be a young woman, she is the older sister of Impa and over 124 years old. She acquired her newfound youth during research into an anti-aging rune in the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. Her design and personality makes Purah a fan-favorite character in theZeldacommunity.

ZeldaCastle9’s kidnapping of Purah is another whimsical feat that players may achieve inZelda: Tears of the Kingdomwhile constructing machines withthe Ultrahand and Autobuild abilities. It’s unknown whether moving Purah to another location may softlock game progress for certain quests, so players may want to exercise caution instead.
