One weapon players might miss from Breath of the Wild is the Ancient Arrow, which could instantly erase any foe it struck but left no item drops unless it was used on a Guardian.

How to Complete Ancient Blades Below
Ancient Blades Below is a sidequest offered by a Zonai Construct inside the Spirit Temple, once the gloom has been cleansed from it. This means players will first need to complete the Construct Factory and bring the Sage of Spirit to the Spirit Temple, fighting the Seized Construct to cleanse the temple. This is all part of the main quest “Guidance from Ages Past.”
Once the aforementioned quest “Guidance from Ages Past” is completed, players will be able to speak to the construct to the right of Mineru to begin the quest “Ancient Blades Below.” This construct explains that it was tasked with the creation of Ancient Blades, and can create themusing 50 pieces of Zonaite.Zonaite can be found in vast quantities throughout the Depths and respawns after a Blood Moon, so collecting the 50 Zonaite necessary to complete the quest likely won’t be much of an issue. It can also be found in the Mining Cave on the Sky Islands where Link began his journey.
With 50 Zonaite in hand, Link can return to the construct to recieve an Ancient Blade as payment. The construct will create more Ancient Blades for the same 50 Zonaite fee whenever Link needs them, so players only need to return here with a stock of Zonaite to get more Ancient Blades.
What do Ancient Blades do?
Ancient Blades are a material that will impart theenemy deleting effect of BOTW’s Ancient Arrowsto anything they are fused to. Unfortunately, they will break quickly and enemies slain by this effect will not drop any items. Additionally, the deletion effect will not trigger on bosses, though the Ancient Blade provides an immense damage bonus instead.
The most effective means of using Ancient Blades is fusing them to arrows, effectively recreating the Ancient Arrows on the fly.
